Still trying to figure out how Apple has confirmed it has over 1 billion active iPhones but less than 45 million iMessage users in the EU.
I’m guessing it’s the difference between iMessage as a network (blue bubbles) and iMessage as an app that includes SMS (green bubbles).
So they could be arguing less than 45M iPhone users in the EU message other iPhone users and get blue bubbles. Even that seems unlikely but it’s the only plausible argument I’ve come up with so far.
