Yes and no with this sort of narcissism. Just keep in mind they're at their most dangerous when humiliated and losing (it's the man shoots his family in the basement stuff as anyone who has lived through these kinds of situations with these kinds of people). It's far better to just not get involved in their games, like being bullies, and just calmly execute a plan to totally disempower them. That's what they really fear, the loss of power they maintain through being bullies.

I am not saying be scared, I'm saying don't play their game and be very cool and strategic instead.
