"Fanny Ben-Ami was born in 1930 in Germany and was forced to flee with her family to France after the Nazi party came to power. She was separated from her parents and siblings and was sent to a children's home where she met a group of other children who were also orphans. The children were eventually discovered by the Nazis and were forced to flee to the countryside, where they were hidden by a group of brave individuals. Fanny and the other children were eventually reunited with their parents, but many of them did not survive the war. Fanny later became an artist and created a series of paintings depicting her experiences during the war, which were later exhibited in a museum."
