Josh (npub1ulv…htel) I regularly run physics simulations that need as much raw processing power as they can get, and every server my cheap university let's me use has had a single Intel Xeon that would have cost $1000-$1500 when bought. Different use case I suppose, but obviously multiple cheaper CPUs still need their own board and RAM and such.
