Car in the bike lane:
Out biking with my kid today , there was a car parked in the bike lane.
We had time. So I stopped.
He waved us around. We waited. He got out of his car and said “You’re making me feel bad! Please, let me help you go around.” I said we would wait.
He walked across the street, picked up his package. Returned apologizing. After 10 minutes we were on our way.
It’s a small quiet act, but that dose of shame may save someone else’s life.
