my rules are stick to tagged branches, mostly, preferably the ones with a few patch numbers not the 0.x.0 as they are more likely to have a bug that i patched, and when i'm working alone, i don't need no stinkin branches (i mean, really, what is the reason for using branches if it isn't working two or more in parallel???)
