GAME REVIEW:
I just finished Graveyard Keeper. It's supposed to be a macabre Stardew Valley. I got addicted but was aware the whole time it's not a good game. Mechanics are stupidly complicated (you have no idea) and the overall balance is off.
It's also sexist. You play as a male. 90% of the main characters are male. There are a handful of female characters and except for the witch, they are not given much agency. Two are depicted (in the barest of storylines) as controlled by a husband or father. One coos at the male protagonist constantly and has a line of dialogue about getting her looks from her mother and her smarts from dad. Oh and actually the witch doesn't do anything except hide in a swamp but at least she's not baring cleavage.
Just...how is this stuff still being made?
