How did I not know about this? Suing the Rodin museum for scans of The Thinker—brilliant tactical activism.
(I think that, in principle, a very-limited-term (5?7? years) right for scanners/scans would be a nice incentive, but in practice it'd start at 7 and be life-of-the-scanner+90 in a heartbeat.)
