i'm unfortunately related to a lot of people on the higher end of the bell curve , iqs hovering around 140 and they are all smug and annoying about it without exception and judge me for not making a lot of money, i wish i could show them proof that life isn't this simplistic materialistic world that they live in , maybe they could for once engage in magical thinking like me, idk , people have a habit of rationalizing their way out of experiences like the one you just posted, maybe you just experienced something weird that can't be easily explained by logic and that's what it is and that's fine, you don't necessarily need an easy logical reason for this.
