Went to the office for half a day today. Hot desk, just me and the laptop, no working dock, keyboard or monitor. If I complain they'll probably send me to the office on the other side of the city with a 2 hour commute one way.
They move us around. Give us offices, take them away. Build teams, destroy teams. The pay stays the same regardless.
After 23 years working for the organisation, I know what works for me and what doesn't. WFH works, hot desks don't.
