Ok so I have a question.
RDJ is apparently playing the role of Doctor Doom in a couple coming movies.
Weird to me, considering he's solidified himself in Marvel culture as Iron Man, but oddly I don't hate the idea. I'm intrigued.
Here's the weird bit, though. The two movies in question are Avengers titles.
So... are the canonically living Avengers gonna see this villain that looks suspiciously similar to their dead friend? Is that gonna be addressed? Are they trying some weird angle where Tony Stark evolves into Doctor Doom? Or something else?
I'll grant, Chris Evans has done Human Torch and Capt America, but the Avengers and the Fantastic Four have never shared a state to my knowledge.
