It’s out of the clamps. Here’s my new file (and rasp) till. When I applied the iron acetate to the oak within, I apparently didn’t get all the hide glue scrubbed off after putting in the magnets to hold the files, and also the iron acetate was now two weeks old, so rather than black, I got (mottled) brown. The outer case and drawer front got a kakishibu treatment, and should darken over the next month. The drawer is full of cards, needle files, and spare handles. #woodworking
