Here’s a scenario. Imagine right now there are 100 miners and 10,000 nodes.
Scenario 1
Let’s say most of the miners upgrade to the new drivechains software (51%) but none of the nodes upgrade. Do you agree that this 51% can enable drivechains?
Scenario 2
Now, assume that only 10% of the miners upgrade. Presumably they can also enable drivechains because the rest of us all have versions of software that ignores the data they insert in the base chain. Is that correct? If not, what specifically will our nodes see that will cause them to believe the blocks are invalid?
