after seeing what the problem was i'm not entirely on board with the huge emphasis on it being racism
but the much bigger problem is that this is a person who is in a sensitive position of authority who is making unilateral major decisions without consultation of those affected and cannot respond constructively to feedback, and lets ideology and pride get in the way of their ability to implement things properly and carefully to avoid alienating a lot of the membership
racism is definitely a part of it but overemphasizing that exclusively seems to eclipse more specific, actionable problems of basic competence in an administrative role
