You reminded me about an argument I had with a 'nurse' claiming that it's 100% effective and how it forms a gas tight seal and she even got fit tested (lmao HOW) for her disposable chink mask while simultaneously arguing that people outside the medical industry shouldn't legally be able to buy them because they're too stupid to use them properly.
This was back when I actually got fit tested once a year for work/osha reasons and used a real respirator daily. I wanted to scream.
