You can use a site like nostr.build (npub1nxy…avr7) to upload photos (they also have “creator” accounts you can pay for with extra features), or if you’re on damus (npub18m7…q955) you can upload photos directly into your notes now 🤙
A couple other clients also have this type of uploading enabled.
