IMO how Nostr works as protocol is the basic answer. Of course it needs more improvements such as MLS by JeffG (nprofile…r4lw) , more clients such as zap.store and so.
With centralization of app stores such as Google Play, organizations even ones like simplex and Proton Wallet (nprofile…nk6j) in control by forced government laws, it won't work.
