The irony: Eastern Europe collapsed & got colonized.
China went from agrarian 3rd world country in 1989 to leading global superpower, mostly based on industrial capacity, trade & cooperation (not invasion).
Some thousand students dead in China, yes.
Millions East European "dead" if you extrapolate the unborn since birth numbers completely collapsed in Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, East Germany....) after the transformation.
Deindustrialization, Hyperinflation... Complete dependence from IMF etc...
Don't want to start a discussion. Only for the alt. perspective. ✌️
