A fellow plot holder donated a nice new waterproof coat for the compost heap to wear on Monday.
I also picked up some bags of sawdust free of charge from the local wood reclamation place.
The heap is getting up to temperature now. Fingers crossed 🤞tomorrow it will register above 55°C and stay there for three days when it will be turned again, outside to inside to repeat the heating up process.
