Green Jays are fairly skittish, coming out into the open & quickly flying back into the safety of the thick trees like those in the background.
It's a common tropical bird in Mexico, C. America, & S. America, but makes its way into the US in S. Texas. Spotted this one at Hazel Bazemore Park by Corpus Christi which was my 1st time seeing one this far "north" in the southern parts of Texas
