"content": "What can cause USB devices to not be detected when their 5V line is not connected?\n\nIt appears that :nixos: #NixOS on the :raspberrypi: #RaspberryPi Zero 2 W needs 5V connected directly from the USB socket (not somewhere else) to the device, i.e. using the below pogo pin pads for D+- doesn't work.\n\nOn #RaspberryPiOS no problem, USB devices are detected, even through the pogo pins, even with wifi on (interference)\n\nSo this feels like a software configuration thing.\n\nAny ideas?",
