I'd enlighten you about paprika if that did not mean that there would be less for me.
The funny part about this disheartening discussion about too much emotion in poetry is that it is coming from a worry that art needs to preserve some sort of universal and timeless quality (politics / history do not influence which art is considered valuable and timeless, of course).
So, preferences pretending to be the opposite of preference.
