Alex can’t get it through his head that spam was inevitable. Now he’s celebrating about reporting the spammer to authorities?… 🤦♂️
We’ve been crafting a standardized way to pay relays for new users to gain more visibility until they are “in” more peoples’ WoT network, along with toggleable tier-based WoT functionality within the
npub1h0rnetjp2qka44ayzyjcdh90gs3gzrtq4f94033heng6w34s0pzq2yfv0g (npub1h0r…fv0g) relay that operators can adjust from a dashboard GUI, because we knew attacks like this were always going to be possible.
Between Alex’s vulgar harassment of the spammer to his suggestion of social credit scores & siloed Ditto relays that lack data portability, it’s clear to me he’s far worse for nostr than mere spam. Principles shape the eco-system, not short-term tantrums and premature declarations of victory from weak cat & mouse strategies.
