THE DIARY OF HITLER'S 'ENGLISH GIRLFRIEND' REVEALED
The British newspaper Daily Mail has revealed excerpts from the diary of Unity Mitford, an Englishwoman & intimate friend of Adolf Hitler.
Here is the entry from the day she first met Hitler:
> "Saturday, Feb 9: Lunch Osteria 2.30. THE FUHRER comes 3.15 after I have finished lunch. After about 10 minutes he sends the Wirt [owner] TO ASK ME TO GO TO HIS TABLE. I go and sit next to him while he eats his lunch and we talk. THE MOST WONDERFUL DAY OF MY LIFE He writes on a postcard for me. After he goes Rosa [waitress] tells me he has never invited anyone like that before."

For those unfamiliar with her remarkable life: According to her mother, Unity Valkyrie Mitford was conceived in the town of Swastika, Canada, where her weathy family had mining interests. She was born in London on August 8, 1914 (8-8-14). Unity, like her sister Diana, grew up to be a dedicated National Socialist. She first saw Hitler at the yearly National Socialist rally in Nuremberg, in 1933. In 1935, she made his acquaintance, as she described in her diary entry above.
She began a relationship with Hitler. The exact nature of their friendship is unknown; perhaps the newly-released diary will provide some insight into it.
On Sept. 3, 1939, Great Britain, her country, declared war on National Socialist Germany. Unity, then living in Munich, was distraught by this tragic developement. She attempted suicide by shooting herself in the head. She survived, & Hitler had her returned to England when she was well enough to travel. She died from complications to her wound in 1948.
Physically, Unity was an Aryan goddess, stunningly beautiful & 6 feet in height.
