OK real answer - I've noticed that most people whining about a lack of engagement approach nostr like another Twitter.
They don't follow many people so their feeds are lame, or they don't engage with others so they're generally ignored, or they post in a very "gaming the algos" type of way so they dont get substantive responses back.
You can't approach nostr like you do regular social media. Nostr has to be viewed with a different frame of view. If you're looking at stats to gauge engagement/success you'll be disappointed. Quality over quantity.
