Victims of partner homicide have not only often been in contact with the #police or #NHS prior to their deaths, over half of perpetrators have form for previous violence.
There're lots of reasons warnings are missed or downplayed, but in each case someone has been murdered by an aggressor who was too close to get away from.
Though these are the cases where provision failed, we still need to do a better job as a society at listening to (& acting for) potential victims.
