There's no logistical support for the nat guard and probably not much for the marines. Nat guard are being set up around federal buildings that aren't even near protests seemingly just to have them posted somewhere. The ICE thugs and the rest of the immigration nazis are going hog wild but still facing a lot of push back. Local pigs seem to be trying to ride the line between "outside agitators" and "we have this ourselves", they clearly don't like this ride.

Like obviously this is horrible, please don't read any of this as me downplaying what's going on. The regime can try to get its shit together on the back end and learn too. But like, this isn't evil genius stuff, this is dumb thugs being led by a cadre of right-wing celebrities in over their heads.
