Sorry, I'm on a character-limited instance so I shortened to "prescriptions" meaning anything the doctor prescribes for you to do, which includes like lab work, specialist referral (and the resulting work from the specialists), hospital services, etc.
As far as our lack of universal pharmacare, that is also a huge issue that needs to be addressed, but we can't progress FORWARD when our government is pushing us BACKWARDS. We have to fight just to maintain the half-assed system we have.
