"content": "I realized that the network’s mentality felt isolationist, which didn’t inspire much hope for near-term adoption. If I can’t invite my family and friends for mainstream or genuinely useful reasons, how can it possibly grow? I considered writing about Nostr in a way that would appeal to the average internet user, but I questioned my times ROI . Why put in the effort to drive adoption when the public stance of some prominent users doesn’t seem aligned with a growing the user base?\n\nI genuinely appreciate the work everyone has done to build on Nostr, but the public opinions of a few high-profile figures don’t instill confidence.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n",
