I am in conversation with the director. Next weeks talk is on AI and the implications of Neurolink, Kind of a debate around the future for humans related to computers. The director is waffling on me because we were talking about teaching the boomer crowd about buying bitcoin and self custody. I got him to download an exchange app and showed him how to use a self custody wallet with a signing device, But he feels like it will overwhelm the crowd. We need to get bitcoin developers working at the City Club as right now it is just old people and Boulder professionals spending time on their laptops in “public” when they could be working from home. There are a few people with bitcoin that got in early but nobody is building on bitcoin there, And that needs to change. Dustin is still in the web3 shitcoin avenue, And I am showing him the relevance of running a node, Using bitcoin specific apps like BTCpayserver, Running a lightning node, Ect.
