But I had to jump in that line.
Now personally I don't care on your relationship with Gleason from his annoying "Vegan" lines, to "look it at chatgpt for coding solutions"
I'm not going to change your opinion about the man.
However it's the "not glad that his fucking off has screwed a friend" that rubs me the wrong way.
Outside of going on hiatus for fedi I have not seen Gleason did what your other friend has did.
Which is remove his mod for posting his wallet address just to get a bite to eat, since he literally had no money, and then fucking lied about how he was stealing and misrepresent poast's own donation with his donations (which btw he wasn't).
And this isn't a random person, this was someone he's interacted and was friend dating back over a decade ago.
That's way more fucked than whatever Gleason did, let alone with abandonware which isn't uncommon at all in world of open-source.
