Tampa hasn't taken a direct hit from a hurricane since the 1920s. Any storm that was predicted to hit us directly always swerved away and hit the places people fled to. So, will the Magical Protection Bubble hold this time?
If Milton lands south of Tampa, it'll drain the bay and flooding won't be an issue. If it lands north of the bay, it could bury the city in several feet of water.
Still safe in my neighborhood (GO ZONE X!) but a lot of ppl are in danger again. (fin)
