When I was a kid, I thought pop culture was going to get more and more edgy.
As in, MTV would pretty much be about bikini girls smoking salvia while drinking goat’s blood as they collectively read from the Necronomicon.
But nothing like that has happened. In fact, today’s pop culture is demonstrably less edgy than it was 30 years ago.
