I’ve no idea but you could well be right as 22 yards seems a daunting amount of hedge laying for one day’s work.
I know a chain is 22 yards as that’s the measurement of a cricket wicket from stumps to stumps.
The hedge alongside my plot will take several days to re-lay. The problem is it hasn’t been trimmed as it should have been since it was laid. The growing tips haven’t been removed so as a result it’s not put out lateral shoots.
