I help maintain NostrGit but it's been inactive a while, we're hoping to try and get some things going again. It's more a proof of concept right now

ngit is not bad, but some tech debt has built up over time, which may need to be coded around in future. It does work, so it has that going for it. I've used it quite alot. More work needed, I would say.

There's the hornet stuff which will be released soon. Seems spammy but if they use their own relays, it could be ok.

NIP-34 just about works, but they are changing it. They've kept the principle form mey original NIP-17 of "let git be git" which I like.

Another project is emerging in the next 6 months around nostr and CI/CD but that's not released yet.

Now that we have did-nostr it might be possible to tie that into git.

I think the best bits could be taken from all and standardized based on what we've learnt.
