Recently, I have requested that the sounds of the musical instruments except drums from songs get removed. However my request was challenged and because it’s a way to show that something is going on and that I have particular gifts that are a sign of the approaching of Judgment Day and call on people to repent before the appearance of other major sign (after that the repentance won’t be accepted), #deleting_music_libraries altogether is in progress.
Please beware that according to the following Hadith (saying) of prophet Mohamed peace be upon him, singing and playing Duff only is allowed in limited occasions as it’s a form of playing (wasting time)
It was narrated from 'Urwah that he narrated from Aishah that Abu Bakr As-Siddiq :Entered upon her and there were two girls with her beating the duff and singing, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was covered with his garment. He uncovered his face and said: "Let them be there, O Abu Bakr, for these are the days of 'Eid." Those were the days of Mina and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was in Al-Madinah on that day."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّعَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا جَارِيَتَانِ تَضْرِبَانِ بِالدُّفِّ وَتُغَنِّيَانِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُسَجًّى بِثَوْبِهِ - وَقَالَمَرَّةً أُخْرَى مُتَسَجٍّ ثَوْبَهُ - فَكَشَفَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ " دَعْهُمَا يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ إِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ عِيدٍ " . وَهُنَّ أَيَّامُ مِنًى وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَئِذٍبِالْمَدِينَةِ .
Despite that I won’t request that the music libraries get restored because I will be responsible and questioned for every person that wastes own time.Note that adults (that reached puberty) will be questioned on how they spend their time on Judgment Day so they are meant to use it in something useful that doesn’t cause harm (this can’t be generalized anyways), spend time with their families and praying. However, playing is allowed for children.
