I think a lot of people can't comprehend what I mean by "it's wrong but it's useful", even with examples of what I mean by that. I think they also can't understand that it can pump out lots of accurate code while simultaneously making mistakes that if any human made you would rush them to the ER under suspicion of brain damage.
it fails to truly imitate a human while also avoiding the uncanny valley trap, which is a pretty big marketing achievement.
