The #Tories have got themselves into a mess (unsurprisingly) on trying to fund the #greentransition by getting #pensions firms to switch #investment strategies.
Today the sector will remind ministers that they are under constraints on their risks (as Govt. has previously wanted to limit its exposure to rescuing person schemes), yet the investment 'opportunities' the pension firms are being asked to undertake are more risky than they would normally accept.
