Early adopters of Bluesky are expecting a Twitter replacement. When they don’t get a 1:1 replica, they return to Twitter.
This is a problem that Mastodon has also experienced a few times in its lifetime—until people realized that there’s unique benefits to Mastodon not found on Twitter.
