Composting is a daily habit for me.
Every day I ask myself the question what can go to the compost pile today?
I especially focus on the brown material around me and make a separate pile with it. Paper, cardboard, dried leaves, wood chips...
I store those in trash cans so that when I go to feed the piles I can add the same volume of browns and green.
Like that, my compost never smells bad. And I reduce the maximum waste around me.
