Why am I so obsessed with information security people?
Because computers are a f***ing nightmare. And, as I see it, the infosec people are the only ones doing anything to make it slightly less horrible.
Not regulators. Not tech companies. Not the software developers who are constantly adding more "features" (aka even more vulnerabilities). Those groups are all making it worse - or, at best, doing absolutely nothing.
It only makes sense that I would worship the solitary group of "good guys" in the entire fray.
