HRF (npub17xv…c9as) interview of Pavel Durov. During the talk credit to Durov and HRF founder for calling out France, and the EU’s interference in Romanian elections.
HRF founder mentioned that HRF focuses on dictatorships, and not democracies, which sounds logical.
In practice, if valid elections are canceled by whim and directive of the EU, then might it follow that HRF is to pay attention to democratic and human rights abuses in the seeming democracies in the EU, in addition to the great work done monitoring human rights elsewhere where there is no pretense of representation?
Perhaps there is opportunity for a new branch of HRF on the border with the EU in Oslo.
