Hard to say anything definitive without comprehensive medical history and diagnostics
One challenge with online medical/dental advice is that self-reported symptoms vary a lot between individuals, even if guided by a clinician
We're missing a big part of the picture - the signs that clinicians can objectively see and measure in a patient
Sticking with my domain of expertise, can she elaborate on "plaque in her throat?"
I guess my approach would be to try to rule out any obvious life threatening causes. After that, let the body's defenses run its course
