The Goa govt has acknowledged that no public consultation was conducted before this policy was implemented, raising significant concerns about the lack of citizen involvement & the potential for arbitrary decision-making.
Various other states have also introduced similar policies. However, most of these policies remain unavailable in the public domain.
In an attempt to get the policy document & other information, we filed RTIs with all these states. 5/7
