A relief from Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli, Italy, (117-150 AD)
The young man could be Castor, brother of Pollux, known together as the Dioscuri or Dioskouroi. They were excellent horsemen and hunters who joined the crew of Jason's ship, the Argo, and were eventually transformed into the constellation Gemini (twins).
