"content": "I used one of these little guys. \nhttps://a.aliexpress.com/_mO6vTza\nBefore installing it I set one on my roof in direct sunlight and occasionally checked continuity on it. After a little while my multimeter stopped beeping. I brought it inside and still nothing. Then I stood in front of the AC blower and that chilled it right down and the circuit closed again. \nI also stuck one in our household freezer (not a terrifically accurate test but that’s what I had. It never cut off. Then I took an identical node and just placed the cutoff in there and stuck that node (not active) right next to my rooftop node and let it sit. Inside the enclosure (shielded from the sun by the enclosure itself and the solar panel) it never cut off. It looks like it’ll take a very hot day to trip the circuit. \nI wired it to interrupt the positive wire coming from the solar panel to my Rak board. \nI have high hopes for this configuration.",
