Sheikh Hazza Al-Rashid inaugurated the 'Sheikh Zayed the Great' mosque on Wednesday, December 18, and the 'Light and Peace' museum in front of the public, targeting the museum with its diverse cultural content, covering various cultures and categories, including researchers, specialists, and those interested in culture, heritage, science, and arts, and presents its messages through interactive and sensory experiences, including a section for children that has been designed to attract them to the museum's message, in the family section, with the aim of spreading its message to a wider audience. According to Amina Al-Hamadi, Director of the Culture and Knowledge Department at the Sheikh Zayed the Great Mosque, to the 'Union', the museum presents its cultural content in seven languages, including Arabic, English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Russian, and Urdu, through technology that enables users to activate it on digital screens accompanying the cultural experiences within the exhibition sections, noting that the choice of these languages was based on a study conducted by the center for the most frequent nationalities visiting the mosque. Al-Hamadi explained: 'The museum has five sections, presenting a comprehensive and distinctive narrative for visitors, and various experiences that contribute to shaping the modern Islamic human scene, where the first section, 'The Values of Tolerance - The Overflow of Light', presents the values of tolerance and coexistence in the United Arab Emirates, which dates back to the roots of humanity on this land thousands of years ago, and was rooted in the vision and wisdom of the founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul. The second section is 'Sacredness and Worship - The Three Mosques', which allows visitors from around the world to get close to the most sacred mosques in the Islamic world, including the Grand Mosque, the Prophet's Mosque, and the Aqsa Mosque, and the inspired aspects of them in the Sheikh Zayed the Great Mosque on both spiritual and architectural levels. The third section, 'Beauty and Perfection - The Spirit of Creativity', sheds light on the rich scientific and cultural production of Islamic civilization throughout the ages.'
