I don't get why so many publishers are so hostile to modding communities.
Modders are customers who are choosing to spend many hours to try to make your game more accessible and fun for more people. They may not have the exact same vision on what the game should be as you do but they elevate your games to a new level and extend its reach.
Modding is a sign of a community that cares tremendously about your game and will promote it restlessly. It's free labour and more sales.
Let modders mod!
