I get the personal choice of T4T, but get really uncomfortable at people suggesting T-only-because-T. Like yes, I'm Trans, and this woman is Trans, but if the reason you want to introduce me is because she is Trans and not because you think we will connect as people, then you are not appreciating my Transness, you are isolating it.
It's the same for "She's Black, you should be friends." It's another way of saying "you people" and it really sucks to hear. Disclaimer: This is assuming the second T is Trans and not Terra. T-only-because-Terra makes total sense to me, because Terra's are cute and awesome and everyone wants to be with us all the time. So that one is fair.
