I received an email from the superintendent of our school district. They have been closed all week due to the recent snow and ice.
He says, "My staff and I will be on the roads at 3 am monitoring conditions. Making the decision on classes in real-time."
Me, "Bullshit it's Friday! A scheduled message will cancel school at 3:45 am."
Not that I care, my daughter has already completed 10 days of extra work.
It's more of a "Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining" We both know it isn't.
